*.* Unanswered prayer? *.*
Sometimes, we will ponder why we ask in Jesus name or when we pray in Jesus name so many times for something and it’s not given. Then we begin to suspend is Jesus real?
Why is he not giving my heart desire?Today I read the “Experience God Day by Day” and learn one key thing about requesting and asking in prayer…
Ask in the right motive. Ask according to his will and he will give more than what you expected! In the bible- mark (chap 10:35-52), there were two group of people (James and john and Blind Bartimaeus), they actually make request to the lord and only Blind Bartimaeus request was fulfill. From this story, the book reflects and questions our prayer.
Question: Why is one request granted and not the other?
Answer:
Evaluate your request (prayer) -Do we ask selfishly? (James and John asked for the most prominent place. Their request was selfish and brings dissension in verse 41).
-Are we asking for far less than God wants to give?( God is able to give more than what we ask in Eph 3:20)
-Are our requests worthy of the God we approach?
-Do we lack the faith God requires to give us our desires?
-Is there unconfessed sin? (God say he hide his eyes and shut his ear to sinner in is1:15)
Conclusion:
God is interested in your prayer and request and he will respond to it (Mat 7:7 -10 “if his son asks for bread, will give him stone?”.) However, the question lies with are we asking God for things in a right motive? Is it out of selfish desire? Is it according to his will? Do we have faith in receiving when we ask? If we are sinning against God (do you know that not spending time with God (Quiet time) is a sin?) and yet we still ask for things we want in his name, do you think God will grant our request?From there, I learn the important of spending time with the Lord (reading bible and prayer) and this is how we can be sensitive to the Holy Spirit so as to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit.
When we spend time with the Lord, we are protected with his word and we are sensitive to the spirit. We will not question or think (is that Holy Spirit or voice from Satan?) we will know it is the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit will guide our ways and protect us from any harm and threats from the evil ones.
Through the book “Overflowing the Holy Spirit, I learnt the important of Holy Spirit.
And how Holy Spirit can protect us from harm and physical or emotional threats. Also,
Holy Spirit is the one that Jesus left behind for man as a
communication tools to Jesus. And how Holy Spirit will guide your path and help you in all circumstance (so that you will not suffer from any barrier). I think it’s a good book and will like to share more about it in my next post when I learn the different between vital and important?

- God created us in His image for a purpose –so that He could relate to man, and man could relate to Him. God create man was for fellowship with Him. Spirit to Spirit.
- When you receive Jesus into your heart and are born again, three promises are fulfilled in your life.1) you are cleansed 2) your spiritual nature is changed.3) your sins are forever forgiven.
- 1) You are cleansed by the blood of Jesus; it is by the Word of God that you appropriate this cleansing. God’s word keeps us clean. God’s word is pure and holy and it keeps us pure and holy when we walk in it. Holiness is not outward appearance but it is inside of you. The only way we can become more like God is through the working of the indwelling Holy Spirit, but often when God begins to work in us, we cry. When a proving time comes, we want to back up and say, “What’s happening here?”
- 2) Your spiritual nature is changed. - He gives you a new heart or new spirit. Old things have passed away and all things become new (2 cor 5:17). We need to renew our minds by the Word of God and by the Spirit of God so that we can recognize the difference between the spirit of God moving and our emotions reacting or not reacting.
Question: “How can I know I am being led by the Holy Spirit and not just reacting to my own flesh or being deceived by Satan?
Answer: “Go to the Word.” See 1 John 4:1-6. Note: If you ever have a question of whose voice you are hearing, simply ask it to acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. If you don’t get any acknowledgment, you will know it is not the voice or prompting of the Holy Spirit. If anything you are feeling prompted to do or being asked by someone else to do does not line up with the Word, don’t do it. Holy Spirit is the Truth and will never lead you to do something that contradicts the Word.
- 3) Your sins are forgiven. When you ask for your sins to be forgiven, they are forgiven. When someone is born again, his sins are forgiven. Being born again is a heat experience and not done by head knowledge alone. And don’t do things for the sake that people are doing it. Sins will retained if we do not accept Jesus into their hearts. Remember: Lives are changed only when hearts are changed.
There is so much sin and carnality in the Body of Christ because many of us have not allowed the Holy Spirit to do what He was sent to do within us. And we will not see the fullness of the outpouring until we understand what HE was sent to do within us. I needed Jesus @ | 9:59 AM

Recently read a book title “Overflowing with the holy spirit” and have some learning point from there:

- Holy Spirit is the One that draws us to Jesus. In John 14:16-17, the book explains that Jesus said He was not going to leave us comfortless and helpless when He went back to His Father. He said He was leaving someone (Holy Spirit) here on this earth to dwell in us forever who will help bring His Word to pass.
- Indwelling of the Holy Spirit – “spirit of adoption”. In Galatians 4:4-7, the book explains that God adopts us. We are adopted into the kingdom of God, and we have sonship conferred upon us through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the first Son, and then there are many sons through Christ Jesus because everything God does He multiplies.
- You don’t have to wonder if God want you. You don’t have to wonder if you are going to be in the right place at the right time because you are in the kingdom of God. Hr adopted you into His family- He wanted you! Just like a couple adopts a child in the natural not just do it to be nice is simply because they want a child. God gave the very best He had (his son) to us because He wanted us. He wanted you!
- Joy is the fruits of the indwelling Holy Spirit – joy of the lord bring smile and light shining from you which attracts believers. Unbelievers understand happiness, but they know that they cannot remain happy because circumstances are not always happy.
- We should not go out seeking signs and wonders, but seeking Jesus. If we concentrate on developing the fullness of the Holy Spirit inside us, in the outpouring, the sings and wonders will come.
- We cannot have the power of the Holy Spirit operating in us when we do not know Him. Perhaps you are a child of God and you are born of the Spirit of God, but you have not experienced the fullness of speaking in tongues. sun after service was rather shock to see some funny things up in the sky..it looks like rainbow..no abonormal one..not sure what you think it is ?..today is a friday suppose to go friend's chalet but i can't ..anyway..in the afternoon me and veron think of a high class way for those who want to scold unpleasant words..you all know sometime sound rather unpleasant when people especially girls to scold the unpleasant words..so this is the latest invention for girls who want t0 scold those idiot people or anyone..so here's me and veron's recommendation:

*.* Finally it's over..and i got to prepare for the next challenge *.*
Hee the contest finally over... at least i try my best..though did not win the contest, i must admit that my competitors are strong..especially two guys which i really kan hao but they never win..sad men.they perform very well but in the end is the two room mate get in ..hmm..nvm..maybe ask them join campus media ig..anyway ..i got to work hard to get better next time. ..very happy as i am able to get a chance to perform on stage and at least ..hee got praise by the host say that i pretty lol..i think they never c a lot of pretty girl in RP lor..anyway..at least my friends say i sing not bad..so ok la..try my best =]..got to jia you especially for the next challenge..collaborate with 933 for a event sia..so got to keep improve myself =]..anyway thanks all my friends for being there to support me..so scare just now even when on stage i was trembling..but thanks my friends for the support..

Sat- Went to henderson to do 100k with my cell group..manage to bless 9 people within 1 hour..thank God..one of them is a malay and i am glad that she is open to it..anyway..after that we went to a malay friend house..there were 8 kids in the house can you image that..they were 12 to a few month year old..anyway..they were all cute and image got to take care of 8 of them..hee we need 5 baby sis...anyway got to take photo with "nana" and "queen"...i am visiting the girl next thur..look forward ..anyway..wed fyp presentation ..yeah quick come and go..and i can go have fun...
