Well,most of you do know that I have been baptism on last friday. Hee after so many years of waiting and skipping and pondering...I finally got myself in the baptism pool..A mixure of feeling..happy ..excited( since it's a significant day) ..worried( if they can pull me up from the pool..)well...even though in the end i was not selected to share the testimony on stage..I believe that the other candidate do have interesting and powerful testimonies..( that does not mean mine is not powerful haha)..and hee interestingly i got a few surprise on that day..firstly, all the candidates are supposed to put down their bags somewhere near the pool..so I find a place to put my bag where I saw a bouquet of flowers and a gift box..it caught my eyes as I was thinking who is the owner of these ...flowers..so nice...hee..Later when we are suppose to queue according to the baptism no, I was surprise to see my boss passing that bouquet of flower and gift box to me..little did i know that it was a present for my baptism. Hee so sweet of them..that's the first surprise..the second surprise was that i was told that i am the last candidate to be in the pool..good thing was that i am able to take my own sweet time to dry and change my clothes after i was baptised.but the bad thing was ..hee i am the no 31 to be baptise..so meaning ...the water is hee use by 30 people before my turn..oh no...hope it's still clean..(yup and it is..)..anyway..the bible also say that " the first is the last..the last shall be the first.." so..hee i am the first..joking..

The water was super cold and the whole "process" took less than 10 min..i was down in the pool after two question and i could hear the "watery" sound when i was in the pool.Anyway..hee they say baptism is like wedding..indeed..it does when they asked two question before they actually baptise me..like wedding where the pastor will ask question before exchange of ring etc..haha...anyway after being baptise, i got the certi n prayer from pastor...hee a very nice certi...and soon after i went to meet my cell group and spiritual sisters.. and my friends(siling was here =]) from QQS and TYA...thank GOd for their presence to witness the event...though quite upset when some of my friends couldn't make it on that day..the most important things is the significant of getting baptise..and i am glad that i have been baptise..after 6 years being a "no name christian"..now i can say that i am a christian from FCBC..no longer a baby but a woman rising up in God's calling...and I am called Gabriela..meaning God is my strength..and I want to continue believing that he will be my strength..remind myself not to always depend on myself..

And soon my test come.. I need to fund raise $625 for QQS trip..oh no..got to prayer for sponsor..and even find a full time job to raise the rest of the amount..cos we are suppose to raise half the amount and pay the rest of the amount ourselve..hmm..I got to pray hard for sponsor...But I know God will provide sponsor and a job for me to cover my trip for QQS as well as other expenses...Hmm a time to really rely on God's strength... anyway below are some photos taken on the baptism day..with young arrow club member( they are so cute right..) with my friends and family..and the gifts(..really like them all),cards( thanks for all the encouraging message) and flowers they buy for me..( i don't know when i start loving flower...)haha...









Sad news working last day at TOUCH childcare this wed..It's hard to say goodbye..but i have to...i am going to miss the k1 and T class kids ( especailly lincoln,erza( who like to kiss and hug me),ee jin,wei jun,ryan(who like to call me ms koh ms koh),.. and eason(handsome one who i like to play with..)sean( the smily boy), jaden and wei jun( the cue and obedient boy)..hee most of them is boys haha ..there are many more..no ..hee i wish to list them all...)and ms ong..got to miss working with you ..and sorry cannot help and assist you in TOUCH le..but I know God will be there to protect and help you..Got to update me about the kids next time =]...Hee I am going to buy their class photos..though a bit sad cannot take photo with them..but hee at least can take their photos...

well next..hee anyway another good news is i am going to hougang club (TYA)...though a bit upset because I just got to know the rest of the club memebers in serangoon club.. and they have a very sweet leader (fidelia)..but i guess..everything is plan for a good reason...hougang club is starting their registration the coming sat..and offically open in july..so still got 2 more months in serangoon club..btw hougang club is so near my house haha..yeah..no need to scare being late for club..hopefully God i can be a useful vessel for you...

Today psalm 119..it's the longest psalm..two words caught my attention : precepts and statutes...since most of the verses in psalm 119 mention this two words...

statutes
v2 -Blessed are they who keep his statutes,and seek him with all their heart.
v14-I rejoice in following your statutes,as one rejoices in great riches.
v22-Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
v24-Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
v31-I hold fast to your statutes, O LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
v36-Turn my heart toward your statutes,and not toward selfish gain.
v46-I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
v59-I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
v80-May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.
v95-The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes.
v99-I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.
v111-Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
v144-Your statutes are forever right; give me understanding that I may live.
v146-I call out to you; save me and I will keep your statutes.

v15 -I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
v27-Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.
v45-I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
v56-This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
v63-I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.
v69-Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart.
v78-May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.
v87-They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.
v93-I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
v94-Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts.
v104-I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.

v168-I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you.

Actually there are many other verse with the two words..but i just get a few verses from there...hee i don't actually know the meaning of precepts and statuses so i went to look at other version of bible online...

Statutes:法 度 (A decree..)



Well..from the other version they taught me statutes is to be heard, receive, love, and obeyed..hmm loved them?!!..sometime we find it hard to obey his command hee now we are told to even love them..it's a big challenge =]..but I learn from.. Psl 119 is the important of walking with the lord...your walk with the lord..= your understanding of his words..his command...and even the heart of obedient you have ...if you choose to walk with the lord..you will listen and read/keep his words..you will know his commandmend..mediate on his words..so that when wicked try to deceive you..when satan try to temp you..when you are lost..you know and can stand firmly saying God's words to defend yourself from any evil attack..This psl teach me the important of reading God's words and being obedient to him...it's not easy..but when we seek him and put him first before anything..there is comfort, joy, hope, promise, peace...(see psl 119)..his word is a light upon our path..psl 119 teaches the important of his words ..and i believe many other things else..
